It Had To Brie You!
"Brie"
Brie is 3 years old and is a very sweet
and loving golden girl who gets along with everyone here at
the Circus -large and small! She is an easy to live with
housedog and loves to go running with Dave around our
property, Brie stayed here overnight for a few days on her
way back to Fort Lauderdale and she never left!!. Luckily
for us Brie was bred and owned by my good friend Terrie
Pennington and she agreed to share her with Dave and I. We
are happy to have Brie as part of our family!

"Disney"

Disney is an amazing dog and just celebrated
his 9th birthday, he is owned and lives with one of my best friends and
one of my mentors, Terrie Pennington of
Calypso Goldens. We
have had the pleasure of getting to know Disney personally and we
have had him stay with us here on several occasions. Disney has an
amazingly correct temperament and he can happily run with other
intact males as well as young puppies, older bitches and I have
never as much as seen him get exasperated with ANYONE...
I am
excited to have the opportunity to use Disney in my breeding
program for a second time this year.
Disney's totally unflappable temperament and
showy attitude is
passed onto his kids and I could happily have a whole houseful of
"mini Disney's". Click on the name to meet
Vanity my Disney kid from my last litter.

Circus puppies are born and are raised
in our home NOT in a kennel environment.
Our puppies receive early neurological
stimulation as we utilize the Bio Sensor program originally
developed by the US military canine program, now called the
Super Puppy Program. Based on years of research, the
military learned that early neurological stimulation
exercises could have important and lasting effects. Their
studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early
in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results.
The first period involves a window of time that begins at
the third day of life and lasts until the sixteenth day. It
is believed that because this interval of time is a period
of rapid neurological growth and development, and therefore
is of great importance to the individual.
The "Bio Sensor" program was also
concerned with early neurological stimulation in order to
give the dog a superior advantage. Its development utilized
six exercises which were designed to stimulate the
neurological system. Each workout involves handling puppies
once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a
time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in
order of preference the handler starts with one pup and
stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler
completes the series from beginning to end before starting
with the next pup.
Five benefits have been observed in
canines that were exposed to the Bio Sensor stimulation
exercises. The benefits noted were:
- Improved cardio vascular
performance (heart rate)
- Stronger heart beats
- Stronger adrenal glands
- More tolerance to stress
- Greater resistance to disease.
The advantages of raising the puppies
in our home are of course many. The puppies become
accustomed to the vacuum, the TV, sights and sounds of a
kitchen and of course older dogs walking around them,
barking and playing as well as other everyday household
noises. Weather permitting the puppies
receive daily outside time with their mother and siblings, so
by the time they leave our home they are very outgoing and
used to a variety of surfaces under their feet. We have had
wonderful feedback from Circus puppy owners on how outgoing
and confident their puppies were from day one.
Visitors to Mum
and babies are permitted after the puppies reach 5 weeks old
and we encourage the new families who are getting a Circus
puppy to come to our home and spend time with the litter.
We only have
one or two litters planned each year and typically we do not
have more than one litter at a time, we like to be able to
devote our time and energy and focus into the one litter.
All puppies are
wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks and will go to their new homes
after receiving their first vaccines and a health check by
our DVM. Our puppies are eligible to be AKC registered and
you will receive copies of all clearances on both of the
parents of the puppy. All of our girls and their chosen stud
dogs MUST have
clearances on hips and elbows (OFA) a heart clearance (OFA)
and an annual eye exam (CERF).
Please remember
that we are here for the life of
the puppy to answer your questions at any time.
We look forward
to meeting you and having you join the Circus Family, we
would be glad to give you names and contact info for
references from some happy puppy owners from our previous
litters.
