 Rodin came to us from
Bev Patz of Kandiland Kennels in MI. we were looking for a new boy
to add to the family, but we were not sure about raising two puppies
together (Rodin is 3.5 weeks younger than India). But raising Rodin
has been no trouble at all, he is such a sweet loving boy, the big
blonde mush! This boy is a heart stealer, everyone who meets him
just falls head over heels for him. He is building up quite a fan
base already!
 Rodin
is our little puppy superstar, his first time in the ring at just 6
months he won his class at the Gunpowder Golden Retriever Specialty!
He then went on to 2nd place at the Eastern Regional and a 1st place
at the Sandlapper Specialties and Mid-FL Specialties. Our baby boy
continues to wow the judges in limited showing, even picking up a
5 point major reserve all this from the 6-9 puppy class!!
Rodin carries great bone, and a light colored correct coat, as
well as possessing the sweetest most loving temperament with all he
meets. He is well angulated in the rear and carries the front to
match, he appears to float in his movement, which is unusual in a
young dog of this age and maturity. Rodin lives with intact males,
and intact bitches, he has a sweet loving temperament with all he
comes into contact with and is truly a joy to live with.
Rodin has currently been growing up and
maturing at home at Circus Goldens,
he enjoys chasing tennis balls, squirrels and did we mention TENNIS
BALLS.
Watch out world Rodin the Man is currently out in Open and in just a
few short weeks of being back in the ring he has 6 points owner
handled, including a BOB over Specials at a recent show in Zolfo
Springs...We are very proud of his achievement thus far and can't
wait for him to finish his championship so we can begin some
obedience and rally events.

 Rodin's
sire is the amazing and talented Merlin (Gorca's Merlin), we are
lucky to have him in our pedigrees and he remains one of our all
time favorite dogs. Sadly Merlin crossed over the Rainbow Bridge
just a week after these photos were taken. There will never be
another dog who steals a piece of my heart like the amazing Merlin.
